Version 0.35 Changelog (Biggest Update Yet!)

This is the biggest update I have ever made to the game, since release (i feel like releasing the game is a pretty big update too). Just recently I beat Malenia in Elden Ring. Yes, THE Malenia, the one that Kai Cenat had to get a therapist for before he beat it. I even got a recording of it (link next to download for the game). I even put a picture of the achievement on my steam somewhere on here. Anyway this update added a bunch of new stuff, I'm talking a whole checklist of things that will make the game significantly better. Those are things like:

- Bob's Jump & Wall Checks. I know I said I "fixed" them last update, but i don't think i could ever get used to them and they caused a multitude of issues while having them where they were, and putting them back to their original spot is very beneficial for me and testers (aka my friends i beg to play it and never do).

- The Win, Death, & a secret screen have been updated to be more visually appealing (in my opinion), they will most likely change a few more times throughout updates, but for now I liked it enough to stick with it for this update. There has also been new music added to the secret screen so go and try to find it.

- There are two new buttons on the main menu, those being a much warranted Level Select button & Controls Menu Button. The Level select and Controls menu are pretty simple, being in the name. The level select brings you to a scene where there are three buttons, each leading you to a different level (one, two, or three) and the controls menu is just a quick unorganized mess of controls.

- The game has full controller support (i think) I know that movement works but I'm not 100% sure about the main menu, you'll have to test it for me, sorry 😂.

- I've added a custom taskbar icon & custom cursor to the game, having Bob as the taskbar icon, and an old windows XP/vista style cursor

- The final button in the options menu (the full screen button) is now finally working, although it is check marked every time you go into the menu, you just have to press it a few times. Not everything is smooth and dandy but this is my first game, take it easy on me.

- One of the bigger things, there are now particle effects behind Bob when he runs. I think it adds to immersion of the game, as well as just make's it looks smoother and cleaner as a whole.

- Another big thing I added was a pause menu. Now if you accidentally press play and don't feel like jumping into the lava beneath you, you can just press escape and go back to the main menu, or quit the game entirely. Idk why you would want to rage quit in the middle of a level but it's an option now (and yes pausing does pause the timer).

- Another Thing that i think will add to immersion of the game is that Jumping & Wall Jumping now have a sound effect. This makes the quality of the game not seem absolutely garbage, and adds into the fact that you're actually jumping instead of just mindlessly levitating and falling back down again, or simply bouncing off of a wall.

- The last few I'm gonna clump into one big point (like last time), because they're all mainly minor changes and some of them just make things easier for me and i wanted to let you guys know. Anyway, I've fixed some of the scripts, so that no matter how many scenes I add to the game, if i click on back to main menu, it will always go back to the main menu, not a different scene of the same value. If you don't know, unity uses a build index, labeling scenes as 0 to whatever the limit is idk. But you can also track them by name, so by doing that, you eliminate the issue of having to always change all of your scripts around just because you want to add a new level or just a new menu. This makes things significantly easier for me and should save me quite a bit of time to not have to ravage through all of the scripts & find the one line of code that's wrong. As well, there were some minor tweaks to the levels, mainly 1 & 3. Level one had a skip jump made tighter to land, to fit with Bob's old movement style as i moved it to account for his other one i changed last update. As well, there is a secret in level 1 that has had some text added to it, not significant at all, but I might as well mention everything.  Level 2 had on thing changed, I made one wall form jump (side of a platform wall jump) less strict as i only landed it about 1/10 times. Lastly, level 3 has had some skips taken out, like the complete level skip that's let's you beat the level in 15 seconds ish, as one other one that i forgot. If you skipped all the way to the end, I'll be uploading images with checklists of everything i changed.

Anyway, that's literally it, you should sub to my youtube and watch the stuff I've done, I plan on making my schedule a mix of working on the game, doing stuff for youtube, elden ring, and doing stuff with friends. The game will still be getting updates, but more big ones like this and i don't feel like spending the whole day AGAIN (I've been working on the game all day) just working on this. So it may take 2 - 3 days probably more for level 4 to come out, but it shouldn't take too long. Version 0.45 however, I have only a few things to do, but they are all very big things so that might take about a week to 2 weeks from now. Anyway bye.

So something was wrong with version 0.35 originally, you would start at the tail end of level 2, only a few precise jumps to make before the end. I just patched it rn, and deleted that old version, as literally everything is the same except for the weird spawn of Bob. That's all.
